Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited (PSX: WAHDAT) has secured a Rs500 million short-term financing facility from the Saudi Pak Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited to bolster its operational growth and working capital needs.
In a formal disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book, the company confirmed signing the offer letter for the revolving credit line.
Key Terms of the Agreement
- Pricing & Tenor: The facility carries a pricing structure of 3-month KIBOR plus 1.5% per annum, with an overall limit validity of three years.
- Repayment Structure: Each individual drawdown under the revolving structure will have a maturity of 120 days. Principal amounts will be settled via bullet payments upon tranche maturity, while markup will be paid quarterly in arrears.
- Collateral & Security: The facility is backed by a first pari passu/joint pari passu charge over the company’s existing and future current assets, maintaining a 25% margin.
According to the management, this transaction provides additional liquidity and financial flexibility, positioning Wahdat Poultry Farm to meet continuous working capital demands while driving sustained business expansion.
