Shezan International Limited has announced a impressive financial recovery for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, delivering a 117.4% surge in net profit to PKR 354.55 million compared to PKR 163.05 million in FY-2025. Driven by revenue growth, cost optimization, and lower financing expenses, the company’s Board of Directors has recommended a cash dividend of Rs. 13.50 per share (135%).

Financial Highlights

  • Net Revenue: Increased to PKR 9.63 billion (up from PKR 9.18 billion in FY-2025).
  • Gross Profit: Rose by 19.96% to PKR 2.70 billion.
  • Profit Before Tax: Jumped 97.8% to PKR 565.70 million.
  • Earnings Per Share (EPS): More than doubled to PKR 36.69, compared to PKR 16.87 in the previous year.
  • National Contribution: Contributed PKR 3.988 billion to the national exchequer via sales tax, FED, income tax, and customs duties.

Strategic & Operational Developments

Despite global trade disruptions, raw material inflation, and Middle East geopolitical tensions affecting freight and energy costs, Shezan strengthened its market presence through disciplined pricing and expanded distribution.

  • Renewable Energy Transition: Following solar installations at its Karachi and Hattar plants, Shezan plans to roll out solar energy systems at its Lahore manufacturing unit to cut production costs and carbon emissions.
  • Corporate Investments: The Board has proposed a loan investment facility of up to PKR 500 million for Shahtaj Sugar Mills Limited (SSML) to support working capital requirements, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • 63rd AGM Schedule: The meeting is scheduled for October 27, 2026, in Lahore and virtually via Zoom.
