In a major corporate shift within Pakistan’s dairy and FMCG sector, FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL) has formally approved the appointment of Usman Zaheer Ahmad as its new Chief Executive Officer. The decision follows the resignation of outgoing CEO Kashan Hasan, who stepped down from his role as CEO and director.

Key Details & Executive Background:

  • Corporate Shift: In separate filings to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), FCEPL announced the board’s approval of Ahmad’s appointment, while Fauji Foods Limited (FFL) confirmed his resignation as CEO effective September 18, 2026. Both executives will serve out their respective notice periods to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Track Record: Usman Zaheer Ahmad has led Fauji Foods since March 2022, overseeing its consumer goods portfolio across dairy, cereals, pasta, and frozen foods. Prior to FFL, he served as CEO of Nishat Sutas Dairy from 2019 to 2022.
  • Industry Experience: Bringing over two decades of commercial and operational leadership in domestic and international markets, Ahmad holds an MBA from IBA, University of the Punjab.
  • Strategic Outlook: As a subsidiary of FrieslandCampina Pakistan Holdings B.V., FCEPL operates one of the country’s largest dairy processing and farm footprints. Ahmad’s turnaround experience across dairy ventures positions him to lead FCEPL’s next phase of market expansion.
