The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone) made a strategic push to attract global agri-food business investors during its participation at SIAL Paris 2026, held in France from October 17 to 21.
As one of the world’s premier food and beverage trade fairs, SIAL Paris gathered nearly 8,000 exhibitors from 130 countries and showcased roughly 400,000 products alongside 650 innovative start-ups. SAIF Zone utilized this global stage to highlight Sharjah’s competitive trade advantage and expand international footprint for food manufacturers, distributors, and logistics firms.
Driving Investment Across the Food Value Chain
During the five-day exhibition, SAIF Zone representatives presented the free zone’s state-of-the-art industrial infrastructure, streamlined setup facilities, and integrated supply-chain logistics tailored for end-to-end food operations—ranging from processing and warehousing to international re-export.
H.E. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, emphasized that SIAL Paris provides a critical platform for strategic dialogue and partnership building within the global F&B sector.
“SIAL Paris 2026 is an important global platform for engaging with leading companies and investors in the food and beverage sector, learning about the latest developments and innovations in the food industry, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnerships that help expand businesses and strengthen investment flows between markets.”
