National Foods Limited delivers resilient growth and expands global footprints in FY 26

National Foods Limited (NFL) released its annual performance report for the fiscal year 2026, highlighting strong financial resilience, continuous brand innovation, and significant international expansion across major export markets.

Key Highlights & Operational Achievements

  • Financial Performance & Margin Improvement: The NFL Group maintained profitable growth with gross profitability reaching 38% at the group level, driven by disciplined capital allocation, an improved product mix, and strategic margin management.
  • Global Footprint Expansion: NFL expanded its global presence by adding over 1,000 retail stores, securing entry into new markets including South Africa, Bangladesh, Portugal, and Poland, while establishing a nationwide international sauce listing across 659 Jumbo stores in the Netherlands.
  • Product Line & Brand Milestones:
    • National Ketchup crossed the PKR 12 billion sales milestone with a 15% volume growth.
    • National Mayo surpassed PKR 1 billion, delivering 45% volume growth year-on-year.
    • Strategic product additions such as Chicken Powder generated over PKR 130 million in revenue during its launch phase.
  • Supply Chain & Technological Upgrades: The company operationalized its Scale-Up R&D Pilot Plant at Faisalabad. Its primary manufacturing facility at Faisalabad now contributes nearly 70% of total production for the Culinary and Condiments divisions. Furthermore, digital transformation initiatives under RURAL-X expanded rural coverage across 5,119 outlets in 54 towns.
  • Strategic Divestment: NFL’s wholly-owned subsidiary, National Foods FZCO, completed a partial divestment in A1 Bags and Supplies (Canada) to reallocate capital toward accelerating core international branded business expansion.
