The Intellectual Property (IP) Tribunal Islamabad/Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an interim injunction against unauthorized operators using the Pizza Hut brand name, trademarks, logo, trade dress, and visual identity. According to an official statement by Maaks International (Pvt.) Ltd., the court passed the order on September 10, 2026, in Suit No. 44/2026 (Maaks International (Pvt.) Ltd. vs. Unauthorized Pizza Hut Outlets).
The order strictly bars the named parties from opening, operating, managing, or advertising any Pizza Hut-related activities. Additionally, the tribunal directed the unauthorized operators to cease portraying UAN 111-000-765 as an official Pizza Hut Pakistan contact number, as Maaks International confirmed it is unapproved.

- Operational Roadmap: Currently, 13 official Pizza Hut branches are operational, with plans to reopen 77 additional branches under strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Public Advisory: Customers, vendors, landlords, and potential investors have been urged to verify documentation before entering into any commercial, franchising, or investment agreements with entity representatives claiming association with Pizza Hut in Pakistan.
