International delegates and pavilion leaders gathered at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on the second day of Global Food Week 2026 to commend the United Arab Emirates for its pivotal role in advancing global food security, fostering international cooperation, and accelerating sustainable agricultural technologies.

Held under the theme “Building Scalable Food Futures Together,” the flagship event is hosted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). Organised by ADNEC Group (a Modon company) in strategic partnership with ADAFSA, this year’s edition brings together 2,580 exhibitors from 92 countries to showcase cutting-edge developments in food production, supply chain resilience, and sustainable agriculture.

Key Highlights & International Insights

  • India Focuses on Food Corridors & Supply Chains: Dr. C.B. Singh, Deputy Director General at India’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), highlighted the strategic bilateral relationship between India and the UAE. Leading a delegation of nearly 10 exhibitors and five major trade associations, India is showcasing its immense production capabilities in grains, horticulture, dairy, and processed foods while targeting enhanced logistics and trade corridor partnerships.
