Industrial conglomerate Interloop Limited has announced a $55 million (approx. Rs15 billion) investment to build a state-of-the-art dairy-processing plant in Faisalabad. The venture will be executed in partnership with Turkish dairy manufacturer Rella Gıda through Interloop’s newly established subsidiary, IL Foods Limited.
The high-tech facility will focus on value-added dairy production, manufacturing specialized products including mozzarella and specialty cheeses, butter, and Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)—a premium ingredient in high demand across food manufacturing and sports nutrition.

Strengthening Regional Trade and Dairy Infrastructure
According to Interloop CFO Hamza Gillani, the project positions IL Foods to serve both domestic industrial demand and high-growth export markets across the Middle East and Central Asia.
By combining Interloop’s deep industrial footprint in Pakistan with Rella Gıda’s technical expertise in European-style cheese and protein manufacturing, the facility marks one of the largest modern investments in Pakistan’s agricultural processing ecosystem.
